What is known about India-bound LPG tanker that crossed Strait of Hormuz?

India-bound LPG tanker Shivalik, escorted by the Indian Navy, crossed the Strait of Hormuz amid the blockade due to the Middle East war, reports said. Shivalik had arrived in Qatari ⁠waters on February 25. It had reported on March 12 that it was within the exclusive economic zone waters close to the UAE. Its reported cargo capacity is 54,000 tonnes.

Foreigners stuck in India get visa extensions, overstay penalty relief amid Gulf war

The government announced a visa extension and waiver of the overstay penalty for foreigners who are stranded in India due to the Middle East war. "All types of visas/e-visas expiring/due for expiry soon would be extended for a month on gratis basis, for the affected nationals by jurisdictional FRROs on a case-to-case basis," Consulate General of India, Dubai's notice stated.

5 US refuelling planes hit in Iran's attack in Saudi

Five US Air Force refuelling planes were hit on the ground in Saudi Arabia in a strike carried out by Iran, the Wall Street Journal reported citing two US officials. The planes were struck at the Prince Sultan air base. The planes were damaged but not fully destroyed and are being repaired, the report added.
