Switzerland to host next edition of AI Summit: Swiss President

Swiss President Guy Parmelin on Thursday said his country is "looking forward to hosting" the next edition of the AI Summit in Geneva in 2027. Parmelin is attending the ongoing India AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi. 2 Indian workers beaten up in Israel; perpetrators arrested

Two Indian workers were beaten up in Ashkelon, a city in southern Israel. According to Israeli media, the attackers plotted the assault, targeting the two workers in their neighbourhood and beating them up violently in a public park. Meanwhile, the Embassy of Israel in India called the incident “absolutely unacceptable” and said that the Israeli police have arrested the perpetrators.
