Can't deny maintenance merely because wife's earning ₹11 lakh/year: HC on husband's plea

Allahabad High Court has rejected a man's plea against a family court's order directing him to pay ₹15,000 monthly maintenance to his wife. He claimed his wife earns ₹11 lakh/year, while she alleged he earns ₹40 lakh/year. "Unable to accept..that mere employment or earning of the wife is, by itself, a ground to deny maintenance," the court said.

Squat lobster smaller than grain of rice discovered in Lakshadweep

A new 3-mm species of squat lobster, closely related to crabs, was discovered in Lakshadweep by researchers from the National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR). It has been named Galathea balasubramaniani after Indian marine biologist T Balasubramanian. The reef-dwelling crustacean is said to be smaller than a grain of rice and highlights India's largely unexplored marine biodiversity.

Stop eating 3 hours before bed to improve heart health, suggests study

Stopping food three hours before bed and slightly extending the overnight fast improved blood pressure, heart rhythms and blood sugar control in adults at risk of cardiometabolic disease, Northwestern Medicine researchers said. 4 astronauts reach International Space Station, restore full capacity

NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev reached the International Space Station on February 14.
