6 more detained in Rohit Shetty house firing case

The Mumbai Police Crime Branch arrested six more accused in connection with the firing incident outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence, taking the total number of arrests to eleven. The accused who were arrested from Rajasthan are being brought to Mumbai for further investigation. This comes after five shots were fired at Shetty’s house in Mumbai's Juhu on January 31.

Boy drowns in artificial pond at studio as mother watches friend's maternity shoot in B'luru

A three-year-old boy drowned in an artificial pond at a studio on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Saturday. The boy and his mother, Swathi, residents of Amruthahalli, went to the studio for a maternity shoot of her friend. Police said Swathi was attending her friend's photoshoot when the incident happened, adding that she is in a state of shock.

Chip production under Semiconductor Mission to start by Feb-end

The first of the ten approved projects under the India Semiconductor Mission 1.0 will begin commercial production by the end of February, IT Ministry Secretary S Krishnan said during AI Impact Summit. US-based Micron Technology will be producing high-bandwidth memory (HBM) needed for artificial intelligence applications, he added. The Semiconductor Mission 1.0 was announced in December 2021.

Delhi High Court granted an interim suspension of the sentence to actor Rajpal Yadav, noting that he submitted ₹1.5 crore in the respondent's bank account in connection with the cheque-bounce case. 7 Pakistani soldiers captured by Balochistan Liberation Army, pic released
