Udyog Bhawan Metro Station to be renamed Seva Teerth

Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said the government has decided to rename Delhi Metro’s Udyog Bhawan station as Seva Teerth. This comes after PM Narendra Modi inaugurated Seva Teerth, the new building complex housing the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). Earlier, the Mayur Vihar Pocket 1 Metro Station was renamed Shree Ram Mandir Mayur Vihar.

WB govt to give ₹1,500 monthly allowance to unemployed youth under new scheme

West Bengal government announced that its new scheme ‘Banglar Yuva Sathi’, will be launched from April 1. It aims to provide ₹1,500 monthly allowance to individuals aged 21-40 who have passed secondary school, until they secure employment. Applicant must be a West Bengal resident to be eligible for assistance. Applications for Banglar Yuva Sathi scheme will open from February 15.

448 water-critical areas flagged in Bengaluru

The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has identified 448 water-scarce locations across the city and drawn up a summer preparedness plan costing ₹10.14 crore.
