India to get 0% tariffs like Bangladesh from US: Piyush Goyal on textiles

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal has said India will also get "zero reciprocal tariff" on certain textiles in its trade deal with US, similar to Bangladesh. He made the remark while dismissing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's claim that Bangladesh benefited more than India while making deal with US. BNP leader dies at polling station, party blames Jamaat-e-Islami

Mohibuzzaman Kochi, a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader, died at a polling centre amid national elections. He was allegedly pushed by Jamaat-e-Islami activists for objecting to canvassing inside the centre. Voting concludes for B'desh general elections; 47.91% turnout till 2 pm

Silver jewellery recorded the highest inflation at 159.67% in January 2026, according to data released as part of the new CPI series with base year 2024. HUL to acquire remaining 49% stake in Zywie for ₹824 crore

Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) said it will acquire the remaining 49% stake in Zywie Ventures Private Limited, which sells OZiva, for ₹824 crore to ramp up its 'health & wellbeing' business.
