India successfully test-fires nuclear-capable Agni-3 ballistic missile

India on Friday successfully test-fired the intermediate-range ballistic missile Agni-3 from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur in Odisha. The launch was conducted under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command, which oversees the country’s strategic nuclear assets. Agni-3 is a nuclear-capable intermediate-range ballistic missile with a strike range of approximately 3,000 to 3,500 kilometres.

Pak-born ex-UK mayor helped rape-accused son hide evidence, court told

A UK court heard that Pakistan-born former Bracknell Forest mayor Naheed Ejaz allegedly delayed police and spoke in Urdu to help her son hide a phone containing a sexual assault video.
