RBI proposes doubling collateral-free MSME loan limit to โ‚น20 lakh

The Reserve Bank of India has proposed to raise the limit on collateral-free loans to MSMEs from โ‚น10 lakh to โ‚น20 lakh. The measure is expected to boost financial inclusion and improve access to formal credit for smaller enterprises. Separately, the central bank proposed to allow banks to lend to real estate investment trusts (REITs) with certain safeguards.

US conducts 'lethal' strike on alleged drug boat, 2 killed

The US Southern Command said it conducted a lethal kinetic strike on another boat that was allegedly carrying drugs, killing two people, in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. "Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations," read the statement. US releases list of 'worst of worst' criminals, 89 Indians on it

RBI plans up to โ‚น25,000 compensation for small-value transaction frauds

Gold futures fall 30%, silver futures crash 45% in 6 days in India
