In the first such instance since 2004, the Lok Sabha on Thursday approved President's address to Parliament during the Budget Session without the Prime Minister's reply to it. The Motion of Thanks was cleared amid sloganeering by the Opposition MPs. PM Narendra Modi was about to speak in Lok Sabha on Wednesday, but the house was adjourned amid the ruckus.

8 out of 16 Indian sailors detained by Iran released: MEA

The eight Indian crew members out of the 16 who were detained by Iran in December 2025 have been cleared for release and will return to India after completing formalities, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said. Silver ETFs fall up to 18%, gold ETFs down 7%

Silver and gold ETFs fell nearly 18% and 7%, respectively, as futures opened sharply low on Thursday. Govt to take over ₹500-crore land belonging to Asaram Bapu in Gujarat

Gujarat High Court has allowed the state government to reclaim 45,000 square metres of land at self-styled godman Asaram Bapu's ashram in Motera, Ahmedabad. Official records said the premises had around 32 illegal structures, valued at nearly ₹500 crore. Following the court's order, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation can remove the structures. Asaram is serving a life sentence in a rape case.

Housing price growth slowed to 6% in Delhi in 2025 from 49% in 2024

Delhi recorded a sharp slowdown in housing price growth in 2025, with average prices rising just 6%, a report by PropTiger said. This is in comparison to a housing price growth of 49% in 2024. How many people went missing in Delhi in the last 2 years?

Amid concerns over 800 people going missing in Delhi in first 15 days of 2026, Hindustan Times cited official data stating that a total of 1,777 people went missing in January.
