Bangladesh's interim head Muhammad Yunus vowed to carry forward the ideals of anti-India radical Osman Hadi at the latter's funeral on Saturday. "Dear Hadi...we make a promise to you that we'll move forward imbued with your mantra," Yunus said. Hadi, who was behind the movement that ousted ex-PM Sheikh Hasina, died after being shot in the head by unknown gunmen.

Anti-India radical leader Osman Hadi buried next to Bangladesh's national poet

Bangladesh's anti-India radical leader Osman Hadi, who was shot by masked assailants, was buried beside the country's national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam at Dhaka University mosque. The "bidrohi kobi", who was born in West Bengal's Asansol, was buried at the same site nearly 50 years ago. Despite differing ideologies, Hadi was often seen quoting the poet during his rallies.

Rats spotted inside newborn care unit at MP district hospital

Rats were spotted inside the Sick Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Government District Hospital in Madhya Pradesh. A video showed rats moving inside the SNCU, a critical ward meant for newborns who fall ill immediately after birth. Policeman seen slapping woman during traffic stop in Gujarat

A traffic policeman slapped a woman after stopping her for a traffic violation in Gujarat's Ahmedabad. 200 flights delayed at Delhi airport amid fog, train ops hit: Report

Over 200 flights were delayed at Delhi airport on Sunday amid fog, Hindustan Times reported. Over 50 trains operated by Northern Railways have also been delayed due to adverse weather conditions and fog. Railway ticket prices increased

Railway ticket prices will be hiked from December 26, government has announced. Prices of Ordinary Class tickets for distances above 215 km will be increased by 1 paise/km, while prices of Mail/Express Non AC tickets will be increased by 2 paise/km. Prices of AC Class tickets will be hiked by 2 paise/km. Railways will earn about β‚Ή600 crore from this.

Michaela Benthaus becomes 1st wheelchair user to reach space

Michaela Benthaus, a space engineer, has become the first wheelchair user to reach space following a flight in Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket. Michaela, who suffered a spinal cord injury in 2018 which impacted her ability to walk, has previously flown on a Zero-G research flight and completed an analogue astronaut mission. US govt cancels over 95,000 visas in 2025
