Offices of 2 leading newspapers set on fire in B’desh amid violent protests

Offices of two leading newspapers in Bangladesh - The Daily Star and Prothom Alo - were set on fire following killing of radical leader Osman Hadi. Several journalists were trapped inside the burning buildings. Daily Star reporter Zyma Islam had also posted a message on Facebook as she was trapped in the fire, “I can’t breathe anymore...there’s too much smoke.”

Japan's MUFG Bank buys 20% stake in Shriram Finance for ₹39,600 cr

Rare 7-armed octopus captured in video

Researchers have captured rare footage of a deep-sea octopus near Monterey Bay off California, about half a mile below ocean's surface. Scientists say the species has been documented only four times. The animal is formally called Haliphron atlanticus and commonly called the Seven-Arm Octopus. Despite its name, it has eight arms, as males hide one of their reproductive limbs.
