In 2011 auction, $62.775 million was spent, while $11.885 million was spent in IPL 2013 auction. In 2014 and 2015 auctions, ₹262.6 crore and ₹87.6 crore were spent, respectively. IPL 2022 auction saw ₹551.7 crore being spent.

According to the Centre, nearly half the posts in pollution control boards and committees across India remain vacant. Centre said there are 28 State Pollution Control Boards and eight Pollution Control Committees operating in Union Territories and the NCT of Delhi.
