Iran seizes oil tanker in Gulf of Oman, Indians among ship's 18 crew members

Indians, Sri Lankans and Bangladeshis are among 18 crew members of an oil tanker seized by Iran in the Gulf of Oman, reports said. The oil tanker that was carrying six million litres of contraband diesel fuel had disabled all its navigation systems, Iranian media said. Iranian forces regularly announce interception of ships that illegally transport fuel in the Gulf.

Kite prices rise 40% ahead of Makar Sankranti

UP Police builds chowki with same stones thrown at them during 2024 Sambhal violence

The James Webb Space Telescope has discovered an exoplanet, 'ultrahot Jupiter' WASP-121b, or Tylos, leaking two vast helium tails. Located 858 light-years away, the planet orbits its star every 30 hours. Extreme radiation heats its atmosphere to about 2,300°C, causing lightweight gases like hydrogen and helium to escape the planet, flowing into space, creating these tails.
