92-foot dinosaur found in China could be the largest of its kind

A colossal fossil from south China has revealed Tongnanlong zhimingi, a mamenchisaurid sauropod that may have reached 28 metres. First excavated in 1998, the newly analysed remains include limbs, vertebrae and a shoulder blade over 1.8 metres long. Researchers say its vast, air-filled neck bones and record-breaking shoulder structure suggest it could be the largest mamenchisaurid ever found.

Skydiver's parachute gets stuck on plane tail during jump in Aus

Australian Transport Safety Bureau released a video showing a skydiver’s parachute getting stuck on an airplane’s tail at 15,000 feet during a jump in North Queensland. The skydiver was pulled backwards by a sudden force, causing the reserve parachute to deploy and tangle on the tail. The skydiver then cut the reserve parachute and deployed main parachute to land safely.

US approves sale package of $686 million for Pakistan's F-16 fleet

US Defence Security Cooperation Agency confirmed in a letter to US Congress the approval for sale of advanced technology and support for F-16 fighter jets valued at $686 million to Pakistan. The plan includes Link 16 systems, cryptographic equipment and logistical support.
