Delhi put under high alert ahead of Putin's 2-day visit to India

Delhi has been put on high alert ahead of Russian President Vladimir Putin's two-day visit to India. A multi-layered security grid, involving Delhi Police, central agencies and Putin's personal security detail, has been put into place and SWAT teams, anti-terror units and snipers stationed at sensitive points. Over 5,000 police personnel will be deployed to maintain vigil, an official said.

Delhi man outsmarts scammer using ChatGPT, says scammer begged him for mercy

A Delhi man outsmarted a scammer impersonating his college senior who is an IAS officer. The scammer said a friend was getting transferred and was selling furniture at throwaway prices and asked for money via QR Code. The man used ChatGPT to create fake payment portal which captured scammer's geolocation and front camera image. He added scammer "begged" for forgiveness.
