Claiming SC status after converting to Christianity is fraud on Constitution: Allahabad HC

Allahabad High Court has issued directions to the UP administration to verify cases where individuals who've converted to religions other than Hinduism, Sikhism or Buddhism continue to claim Scheduled Caste status. The court said that claiming SC status after converting to Christianity amounts to "fraud on the Constitution". It gave all District Magistrates four months for compliance.

Rupee dips to historic low against US dollar
