Despite what popular culture suggests, men tend to value romantic relationships more than women and are less likely to initiate a break-up, according to a study published in journal Behavioral and Brain Sciences. For this, researchers analysed the findings of over 50 other studies. They also found that men experience greater emotional and psychological distress when a relationship ends.

74,000 Indians leave UK amid stricter immigration rules, net migration drops 80%

Indians formed the biggest group of migrants leaving the UK amid tighter immigration rules, as migration dropped by 80% in the country, government data has shown. Approximately 74,000 Indians departed the UK, of which around 45,000 Indians were on study visas and 22,000 were on work visas. The UK's net migration fell by 204,000 until June 2025.
