The Election Commission (EC) on Sunday extended deadline for special intensive revision (SIR) in 12 states and Union Territories by a week till February 14. The revision covers Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. The draft electoral list will be released on December 16.
