Election Commission doubles pay for BLOs from ₹6,000 to ₹12,000
Election Commission doubled remuneration for Booth Level Officers from ₹6,000 to ₹12,000. It also enhanced remuneration of BLO Supervisors from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 and honorarium has been provided for EROs and AEROs for first time. EC said last such revision was done in 2015.
