Mohammad Salim Shaikh, a drug trafficker recently deported from the UAE, claimed he organised lavish parties in Mumbai and Dubai attended by Orry, Dawood’s sister’s son, and several Bollywood A-listers. He also named Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, her brother Siddharth, and filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan among the guests. Mumbai Police is yet to verify the claims.

China building floating island that can survive nuclear blasts

China is building a floating island that can survive nuclear blasts. Officially named the Deep-Sea All-Weather Resident Floating Research Facility and designated as a major scientific infrastructure project, it will enter service in 2028. It uses rare nuclear-blast-resistant design that consists of "metamaterial" sandwich panels to turn catastrophic shocks into gentle squeezes, scientists said.

Air in Delhi improves slightly but stays in 'very poor' category

Air quality in Delhi improved slightly on Friday but stayed in 'very poor' category with AQI at 370 at 8 am, according to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The city had recorded AQI at 391 at 4pm on Thursday. However, Anand Vihar, Ashok Vihar, Rohini and RK Puram saw 'severe' air with AQI at 418, 411, 424 and 401 respectively.

Israel finds 7km-long 'complex' Hamas tunnel that has 80 rooms

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have found a "complex" Hamas tunnel in the Gaza Strip where the body of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin was held by the terror group recently. The IDF said tunnel is over seven kilometres long, 25 metres deep and has 80 rooms. The tunnel was used by Hamas commanders for storing weapons, planning attacks and extended stays.

Mexican artist Frida Kahlo's self-portrait titled El sueño (La cama), or The Dream (The Bed),was sold for $54.7 million (nearly ₹485 crore) at a New York auction.
