Indian stock market closed near 52-week highs on Diwali as both Sensex and Nifty hit yearly highs on Monday. Sensex hit its 52-week high of 84,656.56 and ended over 400 points higher at 84,363.37, while Nifty hit its yearly high of 25,926.20 before closing 133 points higher at 25,843.15.
