Bihar election dates announced

Voting for Bihar Assembly elections will take place in two phases on 6th November and 11th November, Election Commission announced. Last dates for filing nominations are October 17th and October 20th, respectively, while counting of votes will take place on November 14th. Term of the 243-seat Assembly ends on November 22. EC earlier conducted intensive revision of Bihar electoral rolls.

Vizag stadium stands to be named after Mithali, Kalpana following Smriti's request

The Andhra Cricket Association will unveil two stands named after Mithali Raj and Ravi Kalpana at Visakhapatnam's Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium on October 12. Gold jumps nearly β‚Ή10,000/10 grams to hit fresh peak in Delhi, silver also skyrockets

Gold prices jumped by β‚Ή9,700 to scale a fresh peak of β‚Ή1,30,300 per 10 grams in Delhi on Monday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. The yellow metal of 99.9% purity had closed at β‚Ή1,20,600 per 10 grams on Friday. Silver prices also skyrocketed by β‚Ή7,400 to hit a new peak of β‚Ή1,57,400 per kilogram.

What changes will take place as Centre revises reimbursement rates under CGHS?

The Centre approved revision of reimbursement rates under Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), which gives health cover to lakhs of employees, pensioners and their dependents. The updated pricing covers 2,000 procedures and will take effect on October 13. ECI to roll out one-stop election app ECINet with Bihar elections

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar introduced ECINet, a one-stop digital platform that integrates over 40 of ECI's existing election-related mobile and web applications into a single interface. Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg was among 171 activists who were deported by Israel on Monday. The deportees, all of whom were aboard Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla, were sent to Greece and Slovakia, Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed. OpenAI signs multi-year deal with AMD for AI-chip supply

AMD will be supplying AI chips to OpenAI in multi-year deal, giving ChatGPT creator the option to buy up to roughly 10% of AMD's stakes.
