Kerala clears draft Bill to kill wild animals threatening human life

Kerala Cabinet approved key amendments to the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, allowing killing or relocating wild animals that threaten human life. The Bill aims to address rising wildlife attacks, including tigers, elephants, and monkeys, and is expected to be presented in Assembly next week. From 2016-17 to 2024-25, 919 people were killed and 8,967 injured in wildlife attacks in Kerala.

India likely to witness colder winter

Meteorologists have cautioned that India may witness colder-than-usual winter this year. "Our models show a good probability of La Niña developing during Oct-Dec this year (over 50%). 6 X-ray technicians named 'Arpit Singh' worked in UP hospitals for 9 yrs, all absconding

Six X-ray technicians named 'Arpit Singh', son of Anil Kumar Singh, who cleared the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission in 2016, were found working in six district hospitals as X-ray technicians. RIL USA, the US arm of Reliance Industries Limited, has acquired the property sold by billionaire Robert Pera, who bought it for around $20 million in 2018. Car crashes off flyover and lands on railway tracks in Delhi

A man lost control of his car on Mukarba Chowk flyover and hit the pavement before jumping off the railing and landing upside down on the railway tracks near Haiderpur Metro Station in Delhi, police said.
