"Exchanged views on efforts for peaceful resolution of conflicts in Ukraine and in West Asia," said PM Modi. This comes days after Macron met US President Donald Trump alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and several other European leaders, to discuss the war.

What is the Bronco Test that Team India players will undergo?

A rugby-centric Bronco Test has been introduced by the BCCI for Team India players. The fitness test requires running 20 metres, 40 metres, and 60 metres shuttles with one set totalling 120 metres. Players must finish five such sets continuously, covering a total distance of 1.2 kilometres. Team India players have been tasked with completing the test within six minutes.

US halts worker visas for commercial truck drivers after crash involving Indian driver

The US paused all issuance of worker visas for commercial truck drivers, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced. "The increasing number of foreign drivers operating large tractor-trailer trucks on US roads is endangering American lives and undercutting livelihoods of American truckers," he wrote on X. In a world-first, University of Queensland scientists successfully grew fully functioning living human skin in laboratory. The researchers used stem cells to create replica of human skin, complete with blood vessels, capillaries, hair follicles, layers of tissue and immune cells. It'll lead to great improvements in treatment of skin disease, burns & other injuries requiring skin grafts, they said.

SC modifies Delhi-NCR stray dog order, allows release after sterilisation and immunisation

The Supreme Court has modified its August 11 order that mandated relocating stray dogs in Delhi-NCR to shelters and prohibiting their return to public spaces. The apex court’s three-judge bench said that stray dogs will be released back to the same area after sterilisation and immunisation, except those infected with rabies or exhibiting aggressive behaviour.
