India has denied changing its position on Taiwan, reports said. The denial came after the Chinese readout of the Foreign Ministers S Jaishankar and Wang Yi's meeting claimed the former had said Taiwan is a part of China. American software giant Oracle has laid off nearly 10% of its workforce of around 28,800 people in India, multiple reports said, linking the move to its AI expansion commitment.
