How has Indian flag changed over time?

The first national flag was hoisted in 1906 in Calcutta during Swadeshi and Boycott movement. It had green, yellow and red stripes, and eight lotus symbols. A similar flag was hoisted in 1907. Tricolour with saffron, white and green stripes, and Mahatma Gandhi's spinning wheel symbol was adopted in 1931. The present-day flag was adopted on July 22, 1947.

5 killed after roof of structure near Humayun's Tomb collapses in Delhi

Five people, including three women and two men, were killed on Friday after a structure near Delhi's Humayun's Tomb complex collapsed, ANI said quoting Delhi Police. India's 1st-ever aquanauts go up to 5,002 metres deep in record dive in Atlantic Ocean

India's first-ever aquanauts, Senior Scientist Raju Ramesh and Commander (Retd) Jatinder Pal Singh, successfully carried out deep ocean expeditions to depths of 4,025 metres and 5,002 metres in the Atlantic Ocean, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh announced. This is the deepest any Indian has ever gone underwater. The maiden dives were carried out over a total of about seven hours.
