Team India skipper Shubman Gill scored 754 runs in the five-match Test series against England, which is the second-highest tally by a captain in Test cricket history. He fell 56 runs short of former Australia captain Sir Don Bradman's record. Sir Don Bradman had scored 810 runs as captain in the 1936-37 Ashes series against England.

US adds just 73,000 jobs in July, sparks recession fears
