Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday confirmed that the Asia Cup 2025 will take place in the UAE from September 9 to 28. However, he said that the detailed schedule will be announced at a later date. A total of eight teams will be participating in the tournament.

Over 10 lakh Indians gave up citizenship between 2019 & 2024

As many as 10,40,860 Indians voluntarily renounced their passports between 2019-2024, Ministry of External Affairs data showed. Of these, 2,06,378 people gave up Indian citizenship in 2024 alone, the data, shared in a reply to a question in Parliament, showed. Indians gave up citizenship to immigrate to around 135 countries, including US, UK, France, Germany, Brazil, Iceland, etc.
