England captain Ben Stokes got out for his first-ever golden duck in Test cricket in England's first innings in the Edgbaston Test against India. He was dismissed by pacer Mohammed Siraj in the 22nd over. Stokes has now been dismissed for a duck 16 times in his Test career. Siraj has taken three wickets in the innings so far.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has reacted to exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama's statement on his succession plan. Toll on national highways with bridges, tunnels cut by up to 50%

The government has cut toll rates by up to 50% for sections of National Highways with structures like tunnels, bridges, flyovers, or elevated stretches. Currently, toll on such stretches is 10 times the normal rate.
