More than 1 crore galaxies captured in one image

Vera C Rubin Observatory in Chile, which houses the largest camera ever made, released 14.1 GB image capturing over 1 crore galaxies. The photo measures 97,943 by 51,536 pixels, totalling 5.05 gigapixels. The 1 crore galaxies represent just 0.05% of the estimated 2,000 crore galaxies the observatory aims to document during its 10-year Legacy Survey of Space and Time mission.

Govt urges people to change passwords after 16 billion login credentials leaked globally

The government has urged people to change their passwords immediately after a Cybernews report claimed that 16 billion login credentials were leaked in one of the world’s largest data breaches. It also advised people to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA), switch to passkeys where possible and run antivirus scans to detect and remove infostealer malware.

India become 1st team in history to lose a Test after registering 5 hundreds

With their defeat against England in Leeds Test, India became first team in history to lose a Test after registering five individual hundreds. First visuals have shown the Falcon rocket lifting off to the International Space Station, carrying the Dragon capsule with Shubhanshu Shukla and three other astronauts. Woman found with blood group never seen before
