Govt receives ₹8,077 crore dividend from SBI
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has received a dividend cheque of ₹8,076.84 crore for the financial year 2024-25 from SBI. The state-run bank's Chairman, CS Setty, presented the cheque to Finance Minister Sitharaman on Monday. The country's biggest lender, SBI, had paid a dividend of ₹6,959 crore for the financial year 2023-24 to the government.
