Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) shared ways to reduce the electricity bill while using Air Conditioners (ACs) at home, which include setting the AC temperature to 24°C or more. "Every increase of 1°C in temperature setting saves 6% on electricity bill," the BEE added. Running ACs at 24°C instead of 18°C saves 36% on electricity and bill, it further said.
