All retired HC judges to get equal pension of ₹13.6 lakh/year, rules SC
The Supreme Court on Monday ruled that the principle of One Rank One Pension will apply to all retired High Court judges, whether they are permanent or additional. HC judges will get minimum annual payouts of ₹13.6 lakh and other benefits, the apex court said. It also directed Centre to pay ₹15 lakh annual pension to HC Chief Justices.
