Gold gets cheaper a day after Dussehra
Gold got cheaper in India a day after Dussehra on Wednesday, continuing its two-day losing streak. Gold price fell by over ₹1,800 to hit ₹1,44,105 per 10 grams, taking the two-day loss to over ₹2,300. Meanwhile, silver got cheaper by nearly ₹2,000 to hit ₹2,06,783 per kilogram as it also recorded its second straight day of loss.

India issues advisory for people travelling to France
Indian Embassy in France has issued an advisory for Indian nationals living in or travelling to the country amid violent protests. It urged them to avoid large gatherings and crowded areas where demonstrations are taking place and to follow instructions issued by French authorities. "In emergencies, Indians can contact...embassy in Paris at +33 6 48 34 00 63," it said.
