The Omani co-pilot who stabbed hero Indian Captain Smit Machchhar aboard Dubai-Tel Aviv flydubai flight has been identified as 29-year-old Hamam Al Hammami, multiple reports said. He was reportedly earlier suspended by Oman Air after being flagged as security risk. Reports added Hammami spent much of his time outside Oman, including in Syria, where he was exposed to extremist ideas.

23-year-old Pranavi Urs becomes 1st Indian woman to win golf gold in Asian Games history

Pranavi Urs on Saturday created history by becoming the first Indian woman to win an Asian Games golf gold. OpenAI spends ₹5 crore daily probing its AI agents, says human review would take 66 million years

In a first, UPI crosses 800 million daily transactions

The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) recorded a record 802 million average daily transactions in September, crossing the 800-million mark for the first time. It processed 24.07 billion transactions worth ₹29.37 lakh crore during the month. The daily average rose from 791 million in August and 763 million in July. UPI completed 10 years on August 25.
