Iconic Air India logo removed from top of Mumbai building
The iconic 38-by-24-foot Air India logo atop the 23-storey Air India building in Mumbai's Nariman Point has been dismantled into 40 pieces by the PWD. The operation took a week, as the workers faced strong winds and rain at that height, PWD Mumbai's Chief Engineer Pradnya Walke said. The Maharashtra government had earlier acquired the building for ₹1,601 crore.
