Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to co-produce US-made Javelin missiles in India. 2.06 crore names deleted as Maharashtra's draft electoral roll released

The Election Commission of India on Monday published Maharashtra's draft electoral roll following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. The state had 9,78,54,049 voters before the revision, of whom 7,71,65,562, or 78.86%, were included in the draft rolls. The list comprises 3,95,89,905 male, 3,75,72,570 female and 3,087 third-gender voters. Names of 2,06,88,487 voters were excluded.

Bihar, Jharkhand sign agreement ending 26-yr-old Sone River water dispute

Bihar and Jharkhand on Monday signed an agreement to end the 26-year-long dispute over the sharing of Sone River water. Under the new agreement, Bihar will receive 5.75 million acre-feet of water, while Jharkhand will get 2 million acre-feet.
