Hyderabad to get cricket stadium bigger than Narendra Modi Stadium: Report

Hyderabad is set to get an international cricket stadium at Bharat Future City, a report said. Its seating capacity will exceed 1.32 lakh, surpassing Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium as the world's largest cricket stadium, the report added. The proposed venue will be spread across around 100 acres. Its foundation stone is reportedly expected to be laid in December 2026.

What key changes will take effect from September 1?

Starting September 1, passengers travelling abroad from India will no longer need to have their boarding passes stamped at immigration counters. They'll be able to complete immigration process by presenting electronic boarding pass on their mobile phone or a printed copy. LPG cylinder prices, aviation turbine fuel rates and certain banking or ATM-related charges may be reviewed on September 1.

UPI set to launch in Uzbekistan amid India's digital payment expansion

Mumbai to get 2 more ring roads as MMRDA expands proposed network from 7 to 9

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is planning two additional ring routes, expanding its proposed network from seven to nine. The two rings will together cover about 307 km, but MMRDA won't build 307 km of new roads; instead, the routes will link existing roads. Bus carrying people rescued from Nepal flash flood crashes

A bus carrying people rescued from the deadly Nepal flash flood in Rasuwa crashed in Danda, east of Nawalparasi, according to the country's National News Committee. The bus was reportedly travelling from the capital Kathmandu to Bardiya. A BBC news report added that 32 of the 38 passengers in the bus were injured.
