4 robots play tug-of-war, all of them seen crashing & going crazy

A video has surfaced showing four humanoid robots competing in a tug-of-war event at the World Humanoid Robot Games 2026 in China, crashing and behaving erratically. The robots were divided into two teams and faced off in a test of strength, stability and coordination. After the clash, both winning and losing teams crashed to the ground and displayed weird movements.

Unknown sources may attack UK factories making arms for Ukraine: Russia

Lifeboat with no one on board found 3 days after ship with Chinese crew sank near India

A lifeboat with no one on board and an emergency beacon from the Panama-flagged cargo ship Ocean Winner have been found three days after the ship sank near Odisha's coast. Only two of the ship's 24-member crew, most of whom were Chinese, have been found so far. Additional ships and aircraft are now joining the search and rescue mission.

Marathi mandate violates fundamental rights: Maha drivers to Bombay HC

Cab drivers in Maharashtra filed a petition in Bombay High Court against the Marathi mandate stating it violates fundamental rights. The rule violates fundamental rights under Constitution's Article 14 (right to equality), 19 (freedom to practice profession) and 21 (right to life), the petition said. It added that Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, doesn't mandate language requirement for driving licences.

IIT Delhi issues statement after student dies by suicide, constitutes probe committee

IIT Delhi issued a statement after 31-year-old student Rishikesh Kumar allegedly died by suicide on campus. The institute provided counselling and other treatment support to Kumar, who was battling mental health issues, since March 2026 and also approved his withdrawal request for the July-November semester, it said. It has formed an external inquiry committee to investigate Kumar's tragic death.

Filmmaker and actress Aruna Irani's husband Kuku Kohli has passed away at the age of 77.
