Petroleum Ministry told the Parliament on Monday that the LPG Equipment Research Centre, a joint undertaking of IOCL, HPCL and BPCL, is testing the benefits of using ethanol as a cooking fuel in Indian households. Scientists have detected an unusually high concentration of ozone in upper atmosphere over North Bay of Bengal, helping researchers better understand how air currents transport ozone through stratosphere.
