US Senate clears bill that could impose 100% tariffs on India for buying Russian oil

The US Senate passed a bill aimed at targeting Russia and major buyers of its petroleum products. Congress leader David D’Souza shot dead at point-blank range in Karnataka

Congress leader David D’Souza was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Karnataka’s Udupi district. D’Souza, former president of the Mudarangadi Gram Panchayat, was attacked while getting into his car parked by the roadside. EC extends SIR deadline in Karnataka; draft roll to be out on August 24

Policeman deployed outside Salman Khan's house collapses while on duty; dies
