Teen killed grandparents at home before carrying out mass shooting in school in Thailand

A student who allegedly carried out the deadly school shooting in Thailand on Friday first shot dead his grandparents at their home before attacking his school, police said. At least three students and three teachers were killed in the attack. The teen shooter allegedly shot himself dead after carrying out the attack.

Amid E20 concerns, alternative-fuel vehicle sales near petrol vehicle sales: Report

Amid uncertainty over E20 petrol, consumer interest in alternative-fuel vehicles, including CNG, hybrid and electric models, is rising. While petrol vehicles accounted for 41.68% of total passenger vehicle sales in July, alternative-fuel models made up 40.59%, as per FADA. The market share of petrol passenger vehicles dropped by nearly 6% YoY, while CNG and electric vehicles each gained about 3%.

Govt blocks nearly 5,000 Telegram channels for film piracy

The Centre has ordered intermediaries to disable 7,393 URLs, including 4,996 Telegram channels and 1,263 websites, for hosting or distributing pirated films. The government said it has strengthened the legal framework to curb unauthorised recording and online dissemination of films through the Cinematograph (Amendment) Act, 2023. The data was disclosed by the government in Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

Man tests self-made electric flying car which cuts travel time from 90 to 10 mins in Almora

Ravi Tamta, an innovator from Uttarakhand, has successfully test-flown his self-made single-seater electric flying car over an open ground in Almora. Built under his own startup Hapida Sky, Tamta has named it HAPIDA SKYNeX Prototype.
