Actor Salman Khan and his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri have been summoned by a Chandigarh court in an alleged cheating case related to a Being Human Jewellery franchise. Bombay High Court on Thursday convicted Tehelka magazine founder Tarun Tejpal in a rape case lodged against him by a junior colleague in 2013. The court set aside the judgement of a sessions court in Mapusa which had acquitted Tejpal in the case. The survivor had accused him of forcing himself on her inside an elevator of a Goa resort.

Rat miners who saved 41 workers in U'khand tunnel collapse get bravery medals

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari conferred the Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak on 12 rat miners for their bravery during the Uttarakhand Silkyara Tunnel rescue operation. In addition to the medallion, each awardee also received ₹2 lakh. In November 2023, the miners manually dug through debris to rescue 41 labourers trapped for 17 days after a section of the under-construction tunnel collapsed.

Iran war has depleted 'virtually all' of US' long-range missiles: Report

The US Army has reportedly used "virtually all" of its highly accurate long-range missiles during its war with Iran, which started on February 28. The missiles are surface-to-surface weapons, known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM), Reuters reported.
