SpaceX rocket's part crashes into Moon

The second stage of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is believed to have unintentionally crashed into the Moon at high speed. The four-tonne object, the size of a building, was part of SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that had launched a lunar lander toward Moon in January 2025. The impact was predicted to kick up a miles-long plume of lunar dust.

EPFO’s CITES system fails to deliver faster claims, delays exceed 20 days

LS passes bill recognising digital bank records as legal evidence

The Lok Sabha on Wednesday passed the Bankers' Books Evidence Bill, 2026, replacing the 135-year-old Bankers' Books Evidence Act, 1891. It recognises digital, electronic, virtual and cloud-based bank records as legal evidence and allows certified digital copies to be used in courts instead of original records. The Bill was passed by voice vote amid Opposition protests during the Monsoon Session.
