BMC pumped 10 days' worth of Mumbai's drinking water into the Arabian Sea between June 30 and July 7 even as Mumbai received 898 mm of rainfall during the period. This was because the seven reservoirs that store Mumbai's rainwater reached their full capacity. An official said it was financially unviable to build new dams to store the additional water.

Hackers stole nearly 1,367 Bitcoins worth about $89 million (β‚Ή848 crore) from 4,585 offline crypto wallets by exploiting a flaw in Coldcard hardware wallets. USA cricketer Akhilesh Reddy banned for 8 years for fixing bid, deleting phone data

The ICC has banned USA cricketer Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy for eight years after its Anti-Corruption Tribunal found him guilty of three Code breaches during the Abu Dhabi T10 2025. Wildfires in eastern Washington destroyed 600 homes, businesses and other structures, forcing around 60,000 people to evacuate. Russia intercepts 635 Ukrainian drones; airbase and oil refinery hit
