Boxer Narender follows Asian Games bronze with CWG 2026 silver

Narender Berwal won silver after losing to England’s Damar Thomas in men’s 90+kg boxing final at CWG 2026. The result gave Narender his maiden Commonwealth Games medal, adding to the bronze he won at the Asian Games in 2023. His silver also completed India’s record-breaking boxing campaign in Glasgow with 10 medals in total, comprising seven golds and three silvers.

Gulveer becomes 1st Indian to win medals in 2 different athletics events at same CWG

Indian long-distance runner Gulveer Singh won bronze in the men's 5000m at CWG 2026, becoming the first Indian to win a medal in the event. Coldcard Bitcoin theft hits ₹850 crore as third wave hits 1,900 more users

Hackers exploiting a bug in crypto wallet Coldcard launched a third wave of attack on 1,912 new addresses, targeting 208 Bitcoin and taking the total crypto theft to $89 million (₹850 crore). Unlike the first two waves, the third wave sent Bitcoins to separate accounts instead of a handful of collector accounts. The third wave targeted six victims per attack.

After losses during Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has deployed 250 Chinese SH-15 truck-mounted self-propelled howitzers along its border with India, as per reports citing intelligence sources. July turns Pak's deadliest month, 606 killed in terror-related violence: Report

Pakistan recorded its deadliest month of 2026 in July, with 606 people killed and 232 injured in terrorist attacks and counter-terrorism operations, according to the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies.
