Congress-led UDF lost power in Kerala's Pala Municipality after an LDF-backed no-confidence motion was passed, unseating India's youngest municipal chairperson, Diya Binu Pulikkakandam. China's 'Sky Eye' telescope discovers more than 1,000 pulsars

China's Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST), also known as the "Sky Eye", has discovered more than 1,000 pulsars, setting a global record. Located in Guizhou province, the telescope's advanced design allows it to detect extremely faint radio signals. Scientists said that the discoveries will improve understanding of star evolution, the Milky Way and future deep-space navigation.

Govt debt in developed economies to hit record $75.8 trillion in 2026: Fitch

Government debt across developed economies is projected to rise by $4.2 trillion to a record $75.8 trillion by the end of 2026, according to Fitch Ratings.
