Iran condemns UK's move labelling IRGC as terrorist outfit, calls it 'unjustified'

Iran on Tuesday condemned UK's decision to designate Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation and termed the move "irresponsible and unjustified". Iran said that IRGC is an official part of the country's armed forces and accused Britain of violating international law by targeting a state institution. Besides IRGC, UK listed another Iran-linked group as a terror outfit.

Martial law extended in Ukraine

Ukraine's Parliament has voted to extend martial law in the country. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy first declared martial law on February 24, 2022, when Russia launched its war on Ukraine. Parliamentary and presidential elections, which were last held in Ukraine in 2019, are banned under martial law. Russia has repeatedly questioned Zelenskyy's legitimacy after his term ended in 2024.

Shopkeepers buy them for ₹100-150 a piece, or cheaper in bulk, and sell them for ₹400-500, earning 20-30% margins. Many garments also travel from US, Canada and other countries via Panipat, major wholesale hub, before reaching Sarojini.

US federal debt has reached a record ₹37,94 lakh crore, increasing by 308 lakh crore over the past year. 6 massive landslides discovered on Pluto, one of them twice the size of Manhattan

Scientists reanalysed data from NASA's 2015 New Horizons flyby and identified six massive landslides near Pluto's Sputnik Planitia. The largest landslide spanned about 130 sq km, roughly twice Manhattan's land area.
