74 passengers including kids eat expired bread served on Shatabdi Express, Railways take action

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has imposed a ₹1 lakh fine on the catering vendor for serving expired bread to passengers on New Delhi-Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal) Shatabdi Express. IRCTC has removed the catering manager and other responsible staff with immediate effect. Around 74 passengers, including children, reportedly consumed the bread before noticing its expiry date.
