US' drone fleet destroyed in Bahrain, says Iran

Amid escalation in conflict with the US, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has said that it has destroyed an American drone fleet in Bahrain. Iran has also targeted American military bases in Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Oman. US carried out a fresh wave of strikes across Iran, targeting its military installations.

Iran rejects UN's 'military confrontation' remark, calls it 'self-defence'

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei rejected UN's characterisation of the renewed conflict in the Middle East as a "military confrontation". He said Tehranโ€™s strikes on US military assets in the southern Persian Gulf were a lawful exercise of self-defence. Heatwave claims 10,000 lives in Europe

European countries reported more than 10,000 excess deaths during the record-breaking heatwave that engulfed the west of the continent in late June, official data showed.
